How you'll be contributing to Accurx as a Senior Product Engineer...
We’re building software that supports every GP practice, hospital, and care home in the UK — at national scale, in one of the most meaningful problem spaces there is: healthcare communication.
Today, our platform is built using C# (.NET Core), Kubernetes, SQL, React, TypeScript, ES6, and Redux — but we don’t treat our stack as fixed. (check out our full tech stack here)We continuously learn, experiment, and evolve, and you’ll have real influence over how our technology grows as the product and organisation scale.
Your day-to-day tasks, should you choose to accept this mission 🤝...
As a Senior Product Engineer, you’ll take ownership of shaping, building, and scaling product experiences that are used by clinicians and patients every day. You won’t just deliver tickets — you’ll help define what we build, why we build it, and how it delivers value.
Build and evolve core product capabilities, from concept through to production and continuous improvement
Our users are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll also join our user research sessions with patients and healthcare teams — to deeply understand problems before jumping to solutions
Collaborate with product managers and designers to influence product direction, design, and technical approach
Design and deliver high-impact, complex features, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
Own the services you ship, with responsibility for reliability, performance, and ongoing iteration in production
Drive technical product decisions as part of a cross-functional product team
Act as a hands-on senior IC, while supporting and mentoring more junior engineers within your team
You have proven consistent success as a Senior Backend Engineer / Senior Product Engineer
We work with C# (.Net core), so ideally you will have experience in C# or Java. It's ok if you don't as long as you are willing to learn!
You have experience working in a highly user-centric business, in a multidisciplinary team, where you are used to collaborating closely with other engineers as well as product, UX and design, to deliver value to users.
Although not essential it would be great if you had worked in a scaling product organisation.
You’ll work close to real users, not abstract requirements
You’ll have genuine ownership over product and technical decisions
You’ll build software that redefines the industry and overall patient care
You’ll help shape not just the product, but the future of our engineering approach
