At YesRemoteJobs, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. We have designed our platform with privacy as a core principle, collecting only the minimum information necessary to provide our job aggregation service. We do not require user accounts for browsing jobs, do not track individual behavior across sessions, and do not share or sell any data to third parties.

YesRemoteJobs does not require you to create an account to browse jobs. We do not collect personal information like your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifiable data for anonymous users.

To improve our service and understand aggregate usage patterns, we use a privacy-friendly analytics service (OneDollarStats) that collects minimal, anonymized data:

• Pages visited (to understand which job categories are most popular)
• Approximate location at country level (to provide relevant regional job insights)
• Device type and browser (to ensure our site works well across all platforms)
• Referral source (to understand how users discover our platform)

This data is fully anonymized, aggregated, and cannot be traced back to any individual user. We never use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking techniques.

If you pay to publish a listing, we collect the business email and job details you submit so we can publish the post and send a confirmation. Stripe processes the payment; we never see or store card numbers.

When you click "Apply" on a job listing, you are redirected directly to the company's official career page. YesRemoteJobs does not process, store, or have access to your job applications. Any personal information you submit as part of your application (resume, cover letter, contact details) goes directly to the hiring company.

We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each company before submitting your application, as their data practices may differ from ours.

We use minimal cookies strictly for essential site functionality, such as remembering your theme preference (light or dark mode). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies that could be used to build a profile of your browsing behavior.

You can configure your browser to reject all cookies, though this may affect theme persistence.

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:

• Hetzner - Server hosting in Nuremberg, Germany (EU datacenter)
• Cloudflare - CDN and security
• Stripe - Payment processing for job posts (we never see or store card details)
• Plunk - Transactional emails (job-post confirmations)

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and complies with GDPR requirements. We have Data Processing Agreements in place with all processors.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect our platform:

• All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Servers are hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Nuremberg)
• Cloudflare provides CDN, DDoS protection, and a web application firewall

YesRemoteJobs is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold (for example an employer email used to post a job):

• Right of access - Request a copy of your data
• Right to rectification - Correct inaccurate personal data
• Right to erasure - Ask us to delete personal data we hold
• Right to object - Opt out of certain processing
