At YesRemoteJobs, we believe that privacy is a fundamental right. We have designed our platform with privacy as a core principle, collecting only the minimum information necessary to provide our job aggregation service. Unlike many websites, we do not require user accounts for browsing jobs, do not track individual behavior across sessions, and do not share or sell any data to third parties.
YesRemoteJobs does not require you to create an account to browse jobs. We do not collect personal information like your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifiable data for anonymous users.
To improve our service and understand aggregate usage patterns, we use a privacy-friendly analytics service (OneDollarStats) that collects minimal, anonymized data:
This data is fully anonymized, aggregated, and cannot be traced back to any individual user. We never use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking techniques.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. If you use the Resume Generator feature, you may provide additional information such as work experience, education, skills, and contact details.
ALL your profile data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. This includes your personal information (name, email, phone, address), professional history, and skills. No sensitive data is ever stored in plain text.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Profile data is kept until you delete your account or request deletion.
When you upload a CV/resume for parsing, the original file is processed in memory and immediately deleted from our servers after parsing. We never store your original CV files - only the encrypted parsed data.
Generated resumes and cover letters are encrypted at rest and retained until you delete them or your account.
When you click "Apply" on a job listing, you are redirected directly to the company's official career page. YesRemoteJobs does not process, store, or have access to your job applications. Any personal information you submit as part of your application (resume, cover letter, contact details) goes directly to the hiring company.

We use minimal cookies strictly for essential site functionality. These include cookies to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode), authentication state for logged-in users, and basic session management. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies that could be used to build a profile of your browsing behavior.
