We are looking for a Sr. Solution Consultant to join our sales team! As a Solution Consultant with Achievers, you will become a product expert. If you are passionate about HR technology and recognition, this is the role for you.
The Senior Solution Consultant is a strategic deal leader embedded in the sales organization to drive complex, high-value engagements a true co-pilot to the Account Executive, influencing the entire sales cycle — from account strategy to executive presentations — with a strong command of both the solution and the customer’s business.
A Senior Solutions Consultant supports shaping deal messaging, builds cross-functional alignment, and co-develops winning strategies to share across the team. They are a trusted advisor to prospects and a coach to peers, helping elevate the overall effectiveness of the solution consulting team.
In this role, success is not just measured by demos delivered, but by strategic contributions to deal velocity, win rates, competitive displacement, and the creation of repeatable frameworks that improve the way the company sells value.
What would a typical day look like, you ask? Something like this:
- Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives on enterprise opportunities averaging 5,000 to 50,000 employees
- Customize and deliver demos that align to business initiatives like employee engagement, retention, and productivity
- Communicate with technical fluency APIs and integrations (e.g., with Workday, SAP, Microsoft Teams, Slack
- Providing feedback loops into Product and Marketing for roadmap and positioning
- Responding to complex RFI/RFP questions that require your product expertise
- Research our competition, stay ahead of the game and share back insights
- Travel (25-30% of the time) to deliver solution onsite
- Lead pre-sales activities defining challenges, architecture and managing expectations
- Scope out a deal that is getting close to the finish line and set the client up for success
- Working cross-functionally with Sales Enablement to shape training programs and new product launches
- Create collateral to effectively communicate and influence the deal such as mocks, video content, presentations etc.

Does this sound like a perfect fit? We are looking for:
- 5-7 years of experience as a solution consultant (or equivalent) at a software company (SaaS preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related field
- Knowledge of industry tools a plus: Workday, Microsoft, UKG, SAP
- Knowledge or experience in the HR industry a plus
- Honed communication skills, and comfortability presenting to C-suite and decision makers
- A self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done.
- Ability to effectively deliver technical components to an audience comprised of varying degrees of technical knowledge
- Previous experience in manufacturing, information technology, and/or professional services industries would be an asset

Our sales roles follow a defined commission structure that rewards your performance. For this role, the compensation plan follows a 80/20 split for base and commission earnings. The range for the base portion of this role is $119,000 - $140,000 and it reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role based on current market data. The final offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, experience, and any relevant certifications. As with all market-based ranges, these numbers may evolve over time, but we’re committed to providing a fair and competitive offer based on what you bring to the team.
