The Role
We're looking for a Head of Talent Marketplace Operations to lead the engine that powers our talent marketplace. You'll own the end-to-end Talent Engine - unifying Acquisition, Matching, Assessment, Learning, Community, Support, and Operations.
The advance of AI has driven an increasing supply / demand imbalance impacting critical operational metrics that support growth. We are seeking a leader with the operational toolkit and marketplace scaling experience who can help us rapidly improve position fill rate, Talent quality, and speed of placement. This leader will work closely with the Sales organization to ensure what is being positioned with customers matches what the network is prepared to supply. They will also work closely with the Customer Success team to manage day-to-day Talent operations (e.g. onboarding, Talent payment, etc).
We need a leader who can work cross-functionally, see the whole system, diagnose root causes through incisive quantitative analysis, and drive transformation that dramatically improves speed, quality, and conversion.
You'll lead ~30+ people across seven functions and report to the SVP, Solutions & Operations.
Responsibilities:
Own four strategic pillars: Fulfillment Engine, Talent Quality, AI + Data-Driven Efficiency, Network Engagement
Redesign the matching process to cut time-to-match in half and improve fill rate
Drive alignment between Talent Ops, Sales, and Customer Success on supply-demand fit and operational excellence
Build KPI frameworks and dashboards that create visibility and accountability
Partner with Product to deploy AI-assisted matching and assessment tools
Lead and develop a globally distributed team; break down silos across functions
Requirements:
10+ years in operations, with 5+ years leading large distributed teams
Strong analytical skills - you use data to diagnose problems and drive decisions
Process design expertise - you've redesigned complex workflows and driven measurable improvements
Marketplace/staffing/recruiting experience - you understand matching, supply-demand dynamics, and two-sided networks
Cross-functional leadership - you can drive alignment when incentives across teams aren't naturally aligned
Nice to Have:
Experience with AI/ML-powered matching or assessment platforms
Background in technical talent and the software development ecosystem
SQL proficiency or experience working closely with data teams
