Who You’ll Work With
You will work closely with cross-functional internal teams including data center network engineers, infrastructure and cloud architects, security and compliance teams, operations and service delivery teams, as well as account and sales stakeholders. Externally, you will collaborate with banking and BFSI client stakeholders such as IT leadership, risk and compliance teams, and application owners, along with third-party vendors, OEMs, and service providers to ensure aligned delivery, regulatory compliance, and successful execution of enterprise-scale data center networking projects.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain project summary data.
- Develop and maintain a plan covering the scope, time and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain risk and issue registers.
- Provide clear communication between the project and account teams and the customer.
- Managing the performance of the project teams and taking appropriate action
- Providing technical expertise when required.
- Providing point of escalation for the project team and/or the customer when required.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of data center networking projects, including migrations, consolidations, expansions, and upgrades.
- Manage cross-functional teams including network engineers, infrastructure architects, security, and operations.
- Collaborate closely with banking domain stakeholders to understand compliance, security, and operational requirements.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans.
- Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business objectives, regulatory mandates, and SLAs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies in a proactive manner.
- Drive governance through regular status reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure adherence to change management, audit, and compliance protocols specific to the banking environment.
- Support budget management, cost optimization, and vendor coordination for infrastructure components.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for project lifecycle, technical designs, and change control.

- 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years handling data center networking projects.
- Strong exposure to Banking or Financial Services industry standards and regulatory frameworks (e.g., RBI, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in a project management environment.
- Ability to deliver projects to schedule, budget and quality.
- Solid technical understanding of networking technologies: LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, SDN, cloud interconnects, etc.
- Hands-on experience in managing projects involving data center migration, disaster recovery (DR), network segmentation, and hybrid/cloud deployments.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow).
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL / Scrum certifications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network models.
- Understanding of network security and compliance within banking infrastructure.
- Experience in vendor and third-party service management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
