Full-Time HARO Expert (Remote)

We are hiring a full-time HARO Expert to join our team and support our media outreach and link-building efforts using Help A Reporter Out (HARO) and related platforms.

Position Overview
As our HARO Expert, you will be responsible for:
● Monitoring daily call out opportunities and identifying relevant queries
● Researching and writing compelling, journalist-ready responses that match query requirements
● Submitting top-quality pitches in a timely manner
● Following up professionally with journalists when needed
● Helping grow our clients’ visibility through strategic media outreach
● Tracking outreach results and improving response quality over time

This is a full-time, remote role with a consistent daily schedule starting at 7:00am Melbourne Time.

Responsibilities
● Pitching on behalf of reps/clients of varying niches to Journalists
● Using HARO, Sourcebottle, Featured, and other top-tier PR platforms to secure backlinks and build digital credibility
● Review HARO emails and select relevant journalist requests
● Draft tailored responses that clearly answer journalist queries
● Use multiple outreach platforms when needed (HARO, SourceBottle, Featured, etc.)
● Maintain quality standards and ensure accurate, timely pitching
● Track your progress and results each day
KPIS
● Submitting specific, valuable pitches
● Not submitting CHATGPT or AI generated content
● Not submitting facts you find on Page One of Google, but client specific statistics and ideas
● Identify low-value domains or irrelevant journalist opportunities and removing as options
● Checking metrics, journalist history, and nuanced signals
● Within the first 3 months reaching a 10% success rate
