The big picture: Axios is committed to delivering trustworthy, award-winning news in an audience-first format. As part of our growth strategy, the Axios Events Team - a creative, strategic arm of the revenue organization - is hiring a Senior Director of Client Management, Axios Live.
Why it matters: This senior leader will define the strategic vision for client delivery post-sale of an event, guide a growing team, and oversee complex multi-sponsor programs central to Axios’ commercial success. This role is the top client-facing partner for our most visible event collaborations and a key driver of retention, brand experience, and cross-functional alignment across Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Design, and Operations. This role will report to the Executive Vice President (head of department) of Axios Live and work closely with the members of the Client Partnership team who are responsible for overall client relationships and all integrated campaigns, some of which include events.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $160,000 - $190,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation and benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
