Job Responsibilities:
Position Summary
The Accounts Payable / Accounting Associate is an entry-level role responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on accounts payable processing, general ledger reconciliations, and expense management. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced accounting environment while building a strong foundation in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices accurately and timely
- Maintain and organize AP records, invoices, and supporting documentation in accordance with company policies
- Perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies
- Prepare and post journal entries related to accounts payable and expense activity
- Update and maintain expense reports and data within Emburse (or similar expense management system)
- Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable and reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
- Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or in progress)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with accounting or ERP systems; experience with SAP Concur is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Onsite/Hybrid/Work from home
Work Schedule:
During training (2 weeks): 9:00 pm to 5:30 am (plus 1 hour OT)
Post-training: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (plus 1 hour OT)
