BJAK is building the next-generation insurance and financial services platform—designed to be radically simple, transparent, and accessible. We are the largest insurance platform in Southeast Asia, operating at scale across the region, and continue to expand into new markets with a strong focus on execution, technology, and measurable outcomes.
The Country Manager - UK is the single-threaded owner of BJAK’s UK business, with full P&L responsibility. This role owns the market end to end - from setting up and running local operations to driving revenue, controlling costs, and scaling the business into a profitable, durable operation.
This is a true General Manager role, not a functional position. We are looking for a tech-first operator who can move seamlessly between strategy and execution, work closely with product and engineering teams, and make hard commercial decisions at speed.
Own full P&L responsibility for the UK business, including revenue growth, cost discipline, and long-term profitability.
Build and run the UK operation, establishing the local structure, operating model, and execution cadence needed to win the market.
Translate BJAK’s global strategy into a clear UK business plan and execute it with speed and discipline.
Build and lead the UK team across marketing, PR, support, and operations, hiring people who take ownership and deliver results.
Drive distribution and growth through partnerships, platforms, and ecosystem relationships that materially impact revenue.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to localise the platform for the UK, balancing regulation, customer needs, and product velocity.
A strong background in technology, digital platforms, fintech, or high-growth environments
Demonstrated ownership of commercial outcomes, not just strategy or operations
Experience building and leading teams in fast-moving environments
Strong commercial judgment backed by data and execution discipline
Comfort operating in ambiguity and making high-quality decisions under pressure
Deep understanding of the UK market and how to win locally
Full ownership of BJAK’s UK business with real decision-making authority

Compensations Range
We offer a highly competitive package, ranging from £100,000 to £150,000, reflecting both experience and suitability for this pivotal role.
