Job Description
- Focused approach will be on the development, implementation and management of the existing sales initiatives in the region.
- Conduct customer visits and be responsible for sales support, planning, conducting and documenting customer visits, identifying potential with these customers and following up on the necessary activities.
- Defining and tracking specific growth actions, PDCA and activity list maintenance.
- Marketing best practice examples.
- In addition, you will assist in the implementation of social selling activities, e.g. via LinkedIn.
- Work as regional touchpoint for sales to push the initiative and develop further
- Furthermore maintaining the installed base and further development of the installed base is a key task

- Creation of launch packages
- Assignment of dedicated headcounts
- Establishment of a global initiative community
- Provision of global sales and marketing material
- Implementation of global marketing activities
Operational approach - with country units
- Selection of the right customers and contacts
- Definition of target customers
- Market mapping (visualization of customer locations)
- Common definition of growth measures per CU
- Common customer visits with respective CUs
- Adaption of global sales and marketing material
- Steering of global initiative community
- Coordination of global pricing for initiative key accounts
Operational approach - with customers
- Pricing to country units and to the customer (coordination)
- Quotation texts
- Throughput-times in the respective workshops
- Technical equipment and competence (e.g. evaluation in which workshop customer request can be realized)
- Ensure same repair procedures and processes globally incl. similar inspection report
- Communication between all involved parties (e.g. Customer, Certified Marine Repair Center or Certified Energy Cylinder Repair Center, Sales, Key Account Manager, Plant, Industry Sector, Service Product Management, Field Service, etc.) à initiative manager build the bridge between customers, country units and business unit
- Common customer visits with respective CUs to present service portfolio or to discuss specific service products and concrete offers
- Education: bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Proven experience (10 -15 years) in Electro Hydraulics Field
- Preferred Skills / Exposure:
- communicative, responsible, team-oriented, customer-focused, strong results orientation
- Experience and know-how: sound technical knowledge in the field of industrial hydraulics
- Strong experience in the service and sales environment, as well as in handling international customers
- High Willingness to Travel
