About The Role
You’ll be responsible for two of Cloudflare’s most critical database infrastructure products: Workers KV and Hyperdrive.
“KV” is a globally distributed key-value store that enables extremely high read volume workloads and low-latency (sub-10ms) retrievals at millions (and more) of RPS.
Hyperdrive is our distributed connection pooler and query caching service that supports querying Postgres and MySQL databases directly from Cloudflare Workers (using any off-the-shelf database driver). It’s a key part of building full-stack applications on Workers and is the foundation of our future transactional database efforts and services.
This is a role with high agency and accountability: you’ll be the sole PM for the products you’re responsible for, and you’ll work closely with your peers across the team to ensure we’re shipping great developer experiences and not silos.
