In this role, you will uncover, qualify, and advance high-quality opportunities within Comet’s target enterprise and high-growth customer segments. Your success will be measured not just by activity, but by creating a well-qualified pipeline that converts into meaningful, revenue-generating opportunities.
We are looking for tenacious, intellectually curious self-starters who want to build a career in enterprise SaaS sales. As a Sales Development Representative at Comet, you play a critical role in our growth engine—working upstream of Account Executives to open doors with data science, ML, and engineering leaders at some of the most innovative companies in the world.
This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to execute a highly targeted, account-based outbound motion. You will be trusted to evangelize Comet’s value, run thoughtful discovery conversations, and progress prospects through early qualification with rigor and professionalism.
We are seeking individuals who demonstrate grit, structure, and business acumen, with the ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast-moving environment.
1+ years of SDR or BDR experience, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or startup environment
Strong understanding of account-based prospecting and multi-threading into complex organizations
Ability to engage credibly with technical and business buyers, especially within data, AI, or engineering teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, confident, and concise style
Strong time management and organizational discipline
Comfort operating against measurable goals and performance metrics
Experience prospecting into mid-market or enterprise accounts
Exposure to AI, ML, data platforms, or developer-focused products
Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense or similar tools
