About the Role
Our Browser Extension team builds a critical component of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and GenAI Security product, enabling visibility and control at the point where users interact with web applications. We’re looking for a strong JavaScript/Typescript developer to help build and enhance this extension, ensuring it’s secure, performant, and deeply integrated with our platform.
Browser extension experience is not strictly required—as long as you have deep JavaScript expertise and can work with browser APIs, you’ll thrive in this role.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain a robust browser extension for Chrome, Edge, and other major browsers using Manifest V3 and modern APIs.
Implement features that securely interact with web content and backend services.
Optimize performance and reliability across diverse environments and user workflows.
Collaborate closely with the endpoint agent team and backend team to ensure tight integration and consistent functionality.
Stay ahead of evolving browser APIs, security standards, and extension ecosystem changes.
Who You Are
8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on JavaScript and TypeScript, including building complex, performant application logic.
Strong React experience is required, with prior exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or Vue considered a plus.
Proven experience writing end-to-end automated tests using Playwright or similar testing frameworks.
Familiarity with browser extension APIs, including Chrome Extensions and Manifest V3, is a plus but not mandatory.
Bonus:
Experience with security tools or SaaS products.
Knowledge of Go (Golang) for backend integration.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
