At DeepL, we’re on an exciting adventure to expand our operations in line with our ambitious growth plans. Our Solutions Consulting team is at the forefront of this expansion, bridging the gap between DeepL’s technical innovations and each customer’s desired outcomes, ultimately driving adoption and satisfaction. By working closely with Account Executives and other stakeholders, our global network of Solutions Consultants exchange insights across regions to deliver cutting-edge solutions for our rapidly growing Mid-Market and Enterprise client base.
We are seeking a seasoned, strategic, technologically adept, and people manager who will hire, lead, coach, and manage our growing team of Solutions Consultants for our new Agentic AI product globally.
You’ll be a high-energy, strategic, and coaching-focused leader, responsible for the professional growth and development of your team. By building strong cross-functional relationships — including with Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Support, and Finance — you’ll stay ahead of product innovations, ensure customer feedback informs our roadmap, and guide your team to deliver compelling solutions during complex sales cycles. You’ll be a technical thought leader and advocate, continually refining best practices for demos, technical assessments, and workshops, while championing customer needs to further DeepL’s mission and market expansion.
Pioneer the growth of a new global team, dedicated to our Agentic AI business. Shape and influence the pre-sales strategy for this newly created team.
Help customer's understand the 'art of the possible' with this new technology as we solve customer specific use cases.
Oversee complex sales cycles with Account Executives, coach to success, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Set the vision, culture, and clear performance expectations for your team, aligning with DeepL’s broader organizational strategy and market expansion goals.
Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members, creating robust training frameworks that accelerate ramp-up time and maintain high performance.
Standardize best practices and processes — sales playbooks, technical assessments, demos, and workshops — to continuously improve team efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate cross-functionally to stay ahead of product innovations, integrating new features and feedback into your team’s approach and enabling them to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
Be a thought leader, customer advocate, and partner to employees and customers, providing senior-level technical guidance to support sales.
Act as a customer champion, ensuring feedback and insights are channelled effectively into DeepL’s product roadmap, messaging, and overall customer experience.
Demonstrated experience hiring, mentoring, coaching, and leading teams with a focus on pre-sales engineering, solution consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
Hands-on experience in a Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineering, or equivalent function.
Strong preference for experience working with an AI tool, but open to other high growth technology companies.
Proven track record of building high-performing teams that meet and exceed objectives.
Demonstrate strong customer empathy and passion for revenue growth, backed by in-depth knowledge of enterprise technology solutions.
Outstanding leadership skills, with a commitment to cultivating talent, fostering collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Exceptional communication skills across mediums and stakeholder groups — capable of simplifying complex concepts and presenting them effectively to diverse audiences (employees, execs, customers, prospects).
Strong strategic thinking and project management abilities, using both data and intuition to solve problems and make decisions.
An enthusiastic and creative leader who is eager to develop and learn, and who inspires a similar attitude in others.
A passion for solutions consulting, technological innovation, and overcoming language barriers on a global scale.
Experience with Salesforce or related CRM tools is preferred
