The Pricing Strategy team sits at the intersection of Product, Sales, and Product Marketing, shaping how DeepL monetizes its products and drives sustainable revenue growth. We partner closely with stakeholders across the business to improve pricing and packaging, strengthen deal desk practices, and elevate pricing decision-making at scale.
Success in this role requires building strong, trusted partnerships across functions and levels, operating in a highly international and matrixed environment, and translating complex data into insights that drive real business outcomes.
As a Senior Pricing Strategy Manager, you will own the translation of pricing and sales data into clear insights and concrete actions across all DeepL products and channels. You will play a critical role in shaping how pricing analyses are framed, communicated, and used by cross-functional stakeholders directly influencing pricing decisions, sales execution, product strategy, and broader business direction.
As a senior individual contributor, you are expected to define your own analytical roadmap, proactively identifying and leading high-impact initiatives that improve ARR, NRR, and overall pricing performance. This role combines deep analytical work with strong business judgment and stakeholder influence.
This is an Individual Contributor role reporting to the Sr. Director of Pricing Strategy. The role can be based in the Netherlands, Germany, or the UK and follows a hybrid setup, with an expectation of being in the office twice per week.
Your responsibilities will span both strategic initiatives and day-to-day pricing support, adapting to company needs and opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
Own end-to-end analysis of pricing and sales performance across products and channels, including win rates, customer segmentations, price realization, discounting, churn, renewals, and promotions, turning insights into clear recommendations and actions.
Build pragmatic and scalable pricing tools and dashboards that improve sales readiness, accelerate decision-making, and increase transparency into pricing performance.
Lead and continuously evolve Pricing MBRs and QBRs, synthesizing data from multiple sources and raising the bar on how insights are produced, communicated, and consumed.
Proactively identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact initiatives across pricing, discounting, and revenue growth, operating effectively with limited structure and minimal supervision.
Act as a trusted analytical partner to Pricing and Deal Desk teams, providing fast, high-quality insights to support day-to-day decisions and complex commercial deals.
Partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to spot trends, run deep dives, and launch initiatives that directly support company growth objectives.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, able to independently drive work from problem definition to impact.
Significant experience in pricing, revenue effectiveness, or analytics roles.
Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously within a matrixed organization.
Strong collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights and clear storytelling.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and Metabase, including building dashboards, pricing and sales tools, and customer segmentations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Formal experience in pricing strategy, product marketing, research, or product management.
Additional European language skills.
