We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity & Cloud Security Architect to design, implement, and
maintain secure architectures across clients' IT and cloud environments. This role combines deep expertise
in cybersecurity principles with advanced knowledge of cloud security engineering.
You will create strategies to protect digital assets, ensure compliance with security regulations, and mitigate risks across on-premises and cloud platforms. The Architect will collaborate with IT teams, management, and
stakeholders to develop and enforce security policies and procedures that enable secure business
operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s technology landscape and security requirements.
- Design, build, and implement enterprise-class Zero Trust architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments and containerized workloads (Kubernetes)
- Align security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology objectives.
- Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats, including cloud-specific risks.
- Architect and implement cloud security controls for GCP, Azure and Kubernetes security controls, including identity, network, workload, and data protection.
- Plan, research, and design robust security architectures for IT and cloud projects.
- Perform or oversee vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments for on-prem and cloud systems.
- Create solutions that balance business requirements with cybersecurity and compliance needs.
- Provide guidance on best practices for security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention/detection, secure email gateways, endpoint protection, SIEM/UEBA, application security, and cloud-native security tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud and Kubernetes deployments.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks across all environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Architect or Cloud Security Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security architecture and engineering in GCP, Azure and AWS
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Endpoint Security, Application Security and Infrastructure Visibility.
- Experience with compliance and security standards: NIST CSF, NIST SP800-53, NIS 2.0, OWASP, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27000 series.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
