Mobility Sector | Android Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and internal libraries following Clean Architecture principles.

• Build modern user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, ensuring alignment with defined acceptance criteria.

• Publish and manage Android libraries and projects in Nexus or locally for internal consumption.

• Integrate Android applications with backend services using Retrofit and OkHttp, based on technical documentation (Swagger, Confluence).

• Implement local data persistence and caching using Room, ensuring offline access to critical data.

• Use Kotlin Flow to emit and collect reactive data streams from APIs and local databases.

• Manage asynchronous operations with Kotlin Coroutines, ensuring high performance and responsive applications.

• Implement dependency injection using Hilt in multi-module Android projects.

• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito, following TDD best practices where applicable.

• Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to code quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.

• Perform bug fixing, code refactoring, and produce clear, concise technical documentation.

• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team environment, contributing to continuous improvement.

• Strong professional experience in Android development using Kotlin.

• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and modular Android projects.

• Proven experience integrating REST APIs and managing local data persistence.

• Strong knowledge of unit testing, testing strategies, and test-driven development (TDD).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) and version control tools (Git, Gerrit).

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within agile teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality and maintainability.

• Fluency in technical English (documentation, tools, and team communication).
