Position: Application Developer
Summary: The Application Developer designs, builds, implements, and supports the applications used at Suncoast Credit Union. The Application Development Team is responsible for all systems used throughout the organization. We seek an experienced developer who excels in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members to develop, test, and deploy new product features
• Conduct code reviews with peers
• Provide technical analysis and work estimates for user stories
• Optimize code for performance and efficiency
• Deliver value to members continually
• Work within an agile environment to embrace change and deliver value
• Coordinate to define and prioritize work
• Utilize pair programming for skill improvement
• Perform appropriate testing to identify and resolve issues before QA testing
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
• Maintain and improve existing software by fixing defects
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Build strong relationships and trust within the team
• Stay informed on current laws, trends, and regulations relevant to the field
• Attend educational events to enhance professional knowledge
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in C# development
• 3+ years of full-stack application development in a team setting
• 2+ years of web development experience
• 2+ years working with Cloud Data storage technologies (e.g., SQL Server, NoSQL)
• Experienced in coding and code reviews
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Preferred: experience with agile or scrum methodologies
• Preferred: experience with Flutter Mobile Development, Domain Driven Design, Micro-Service Architecture, Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Preferred: knowledge of automated testing tools and CICD tools
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively
• Detail-oriented, organized, and accurate in task management
• Skilled at resolving complex problems
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to influence policies, practices, and procedures
