We are seeking an experienced Application Specialist to maintain and improve the operation of our enterprise applications. This role involves direct interaction with end-users and internal technical teams, supporting complex environments with multiple applications, integrations, and data flows.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure stable operation of enterprise applications and timely resolution of incidents.
• Support end-users with access, data visibility, or application functionality issues.
• Facilitate transition of new features from development to production.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimization initiatives.
• Support automation of manual operational tasks to enhance service consistency and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders during incident/problem management.
• Handle operational escalations and ensure clear follow-up on high-priority issues.
• Work with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, SAFe) and participate in release management.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3–4 years providing application support in complex environments.
• Strong SQL Server skills (2+ years), including advanced querying, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services such as RDS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, or Lambda.
• Experience in incident and problem management; ITIL exposure preferred.
• Proficient with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, or custom internal apps).
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• English conversational/technical proficiency.
• Availability to work within Americas time zones.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based databases.
• Programming knowledge in Java or Python for simple automations (~10–15% of role).
• Exposure to release engineering, feature rollouts, or deployments.
• Experience in financial services environments.
• AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, etc.).
• Experience creating or optimizing cloud database structures.
