Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients.

We launched in Japan in 2024 and quickly shifted some focus to support our fast-growing UK business. Since then, Japan has shown strong momentum, growing over 150% and expanding our marketing investment tenfold. Our goal is to reach 50,000 patients by the end of 2026, building on the success of our UK team, which grew from 5,000 to 40,000 patients in just ten months.

Globally, Eucalyptus now generates over A$500M in annual revenue and continues to double in size each year while staying financially sustainable. We’ve also made sure our people share in that success — around 20% of employees have already benefited from our employee share program.

🇯🇵 Our plans in Japan - About Juniper (The clinic)

Our mission through Juniper is to empower people across Japan to take control of their weight journey. For us, this means a medical approach to weight loss that doesn’t judge, doesn’t discriminate, and really works! It’s why we connect patients with Japanese doctors, dietitians and a clinical team, who can guide and empower them on their journeys. With clinically proven medication, lifestyle interventions, ongoing support, and a community of like-minded women, we help patients achieve better weight loss outcomes.

🛠️ About the role (What you’ll be doing)

We are currently looking for a passionate doctor to join us in our mission to make healthcare accessible, convenient, and safe for our patients in Japan.

• This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your own home. （ご自宅やご勤務先など、プライバシーやセキュリティのあるインターネットが整った環境での、完全在宅勤務のお仕事です。）
• We welcome candidates who can commit to working a minimum of one day per week with regularly scheduled shifts. （週1より勤務可能です！）
• You will conduct telehealth consultations with patients, including assessing, screening, diagnosing, and prescribing medication as necessary. （自費診療の問診、処方可否の判断、処方、パソコンでのカルテ入力業務になります。）
• You will adhere to our platform guidelines and policies, completing all required training.（マニュアル完備、事前に研修もあります。）
• You will provide an exceptional clinical experience for patients through the delivery of prompt and empathetic care through online consultations.

🥼 About you (Who you are)

• Must Have: Holds a medical license and registered to practice medicine legally in Japan & have at least 3 years of experience as a doctor.（医師免許をお持ちの方。専門医の有無は問いません。3年以上の経験必須。）
• Communication: Empathetic, friendly and approachable.
• Technological Proficiency: Comfort with digital tools, including proficiency in using telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and other digital tools.

🏆 Bonus points for:

• Language: Native level Japanese & business level English.（ネイティブ日本語、ビジネスレベルの英語スキルをお持ちの医師、大歓迎です！）
• Cultural Competence: Understand and respect cultural differences in patient interactions.
• Adaptability to New Tools: Quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and updates.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues that may arise during virtual consultations.
