About the role (What you'll be doing)
As an Automation Specialist, you will support the design, build, and maintenance of automation workflows using internal platforms (such as Lorikeet). Your work will help improve operational efficiency by reducing manual effort and supporting reliable, well-documented processes.
- Designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows for repeatable internal processes
- Delivering assigned automation tasks within defined timelines and scope
- Maintaining and improving existing workflows by resolving issues, implementing enhancements, and incorporating feedback
- Monitoring workflow performance and assisting with identifying and resolving errors using logs, alerts, and dashboards
- Creating and maintaining clear documentation to support knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance
- Conducting structured testing and quality assurance to validate logic, data inputs and outputs, and edge cases
- Supporting metric tracking and reporting related to automation outcomes, errors, and patient or user experience, with guidance from senior team members
About you (Who you are)
We’re looking for an Automation Specialist who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable workflows, and creating meaningful impact through technology and AI.
Skills and behaviours:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in automation, operations, healthcare/telehealth, customer or tech support, or other problem-solving roles.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Zapier, n8n, Make (Integromat), or similar low-code/no-code platforms.
- Experience with or strong interest in AI, including prompt engineering, NLP, and applying generative AI to real-world workflows.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, with a strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and other productivity or project management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to identify opportunities, measure impact, and improve processes.
- Clear and confident communicator, with excellent written and spoken English and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, or operations teams.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proactive self-starter, comfortable working with minimal supervision and owning projects end-to-end.
- Learner’s mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and continuously develop new skills.
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, or basic scripting (e.g. JavaScript or Python).
- Exposure to SQL, data tools, dashboards, or reporting.
