At Eye Security, you will work on problems with real-world impact, helping protect organizations across Europe while building technology and capabilities that scale.
We are looking for a Director of IT to take full ownership of Eye Security’s IT function and turn it into a strategic, structured, and scalable business enabler.
In this position, you will be both architect and executor, setting the IT direction while also driving execution. You will bring clarity and structure where it’s missing, introduce modern operating practices, and transform IT into a true business enabler.
Your work will directly shape how Eye scales securely, operates reliably, and delivers on its mission to protect organizations across Europe.
Own and drive the transformation of IT from a support function into a strategic partner for the business.
Define and execute an IT strategy aligned with company goals and long-term growth.
Introduce structure, governance, and scalable operating models across IT.
Lead organizational change, positioning IT as a trusted advisor rather than a reactive service.
Design and run reliable IT operations, including service management, incident response, and change processes.
Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, and core tooling including Twingate, PagerDuty, and CrowdStrike.
Ensure strong security posture, threat detection, and compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIS2.
Provide technical support to engineering teams enabling 24/7 service operations.
Lead IT projects end-to-end, including SaaS integrations, infrastructure modernization, and vendor management.
Enable the business through robust workplace IT, identity and access management, and core business systems.
Own IT performance and cost efficiency, using clear KPIs and budget responsibility to drive measurable impact.
Oversee core data platforms, ensuring strong data governance, integrity, and compliance.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
5+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of transformation and change.
Experience building or restructuring IT organizations in complex or fast-growing environments.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), enterprise IT architecture, and security fundamentals.
Solid understanding of ITIL, Agile/Scrum ways of working, and compliance standards.
Hands-on experience with cybersecurity fundamentals, threat detection, and incident response.
Strong leadership and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
Ability to bring clarity, structure, and momentum in ambiguous environments.
