We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Engine Dynamics team and help tackle some foundational challenges in how Forter’s Decision Engine evolves, scales, and maintains its reliability and agility over time.
The role is most suitable for backend engineers who love the business of software building, and are passionate about the complex and delicate process of making big systems simpler. It’s all about tackling the challenges of running truly big software in production, and is suitable for engineers who can operate well in high and low abstraction levels.

The Engine Dynamics team owns the insight-to-production experience for Forter’s Decision Engine. This means looking at the Forter engine development process as a product, and making strategic changes to how we develop features in it, either analytical or product-offering features. It means reducing complexity, improving confidence, reducing production faults and reducing the mental burden shared by all engine development teams. It requires understanding Forter’s core business well, and knowing what a good development experience looks like.
