At FURTHER, we help senior living and healthcare organizations connect with the families who need them most. We're looking for a Business Development Representative to join our high-octane new business team and play a key role in unlocking new relationships with prospective customers. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for prospects, sparking meaningful conversations and setting up high-quality meetings for our Account Executives. We're looking for a highly motivated and influential communicator who loves the challenge of initiating outcomes-based conversations with decision makers. You'll report to the Vice President of Sales and be an essential part of our growing sales group.
Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting
Break into net new logos within your designated territory
Set new qualified meetings/demos for your Account Executives
Coordinate multi-channel prospecting across cold calling, email, video, events and social channels
Identify and engage key decision makers within your prospective accounts
Create interest with prospects by building relationships with decision-makers to uncover needs and introduce FURTHER’s solutions
Partner with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified leads
Develop thoughtful, relevant outreach strategies for target accounts
Manage prospect conversations and optimize outreach using CRM and sales tools
Achieve and exceed outreach and meeting generation goals
3+ years in an outbound business development or sales role
Experience helping at least one small to mid-size software company generate $1MM ARR from your contributions
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a growth-stage environment
Experience researching, account planning, prospecting and cold calling into net-new accounts
Proven track record of consistently achieving quota

Experience using AI to accelerate outcomes across all aspects of your role
Background in marketing technology or selling into sales and marketing teams
Previous experience in a startup or high-growth sales environment
Experience building sales development processes from scratch at an early-stage company
Track record of training or mentoring other sales development representatives

Our openings span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is $60,000 -$80,000 USD base/ $70,000-$100,000 total OTE. The provided salary depends on many factors, such as location, work experience and transferable skills, business needs and impact, and market demands.
