As the Senior Professional Services Technical Architect, you'll be a key technical leader within GitLab's Professional Services organization. You'll guide customers through complex, high-impact engagements so they can realize the full value of the GitLab platform. You'll own the end-to-end technical architecture across projects in the Americas. This starts with discovery and scoping and continues through detailed design, delivery, and validation of our engagements. You'll make sure every solution aligns with customer goals and GitLab best practices. You'll report to regional Professional Services leadership and translate business and technical requirements into quality deliverables that can be reused across projects. You'll lead projects with multiple consultants and provide expert DevSecOps and AI-driven development guidance that drives successful adoption and long-term outcomes. In your first year, you'll deliver high-impact customer engagements while refining our architectural standards and delivery approaches. You'll establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor to customers and a go-to resource for complex implementations within the team. You'll deepen collaboration with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services Engagement Managers. You'll also strengthen how we approach discovery, design, and delivery across on-premises and cloud environments. It's a unique opportunity to shape how GitLab designs and delivers technical solutions for some of the world's most innovative companies. You'll help define the future of DevSecOps and AI-assisted delivery through hands-on architecture, mentorship, and thought leadership.
The Professional Services team at GitLab helps customers get the full value of our platform through consulting, implementation, and enablement services. We design, deliver, and improve service offerings and delivery models that drive successful outcomes, accelerate adoption, and support long-term customer success. Our team includes managers, architects, engineers, project managers, and other specialists across multiple regions, and we work asynchronously to support customers globally and maintain continuous progress. We emphasize open communication with customers and internal teams and adapt how we work as their needs evolve.
The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of the United States only. This range is intended to reflect the role's base salary rate in locations throughout the US. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, alignment with market data, and geographic location. The base salary range does not include any bonuses, equity, or benefits. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.
