Delivery Manager (AI-Driven Project)

We’re looking for a Delivery Manager to support one of GT’s most innovative AI-focused clients.

The client is building an AI-powered cybersecurity coding platform that helps engineering teams with vulnerability analysis, pentesting workflows, and security automation.

The product combines modern AI capabilities with practical developer tooling and is used by enterprise-level customers.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys guiding engineering teams, bringing structure to evolving environments, and working closely with business and technical leaders to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.

You’ll work directly with a compact, highly skilled engineering team of 6–7 people (Software Engineers, an ML Engineer, and a DevOps Engineer), all based in Europe, while regularly collaborating with business and executive stakeholders located primarily in PST/EST time zones.

The environment is fast-moving, strategic, and deeply focused on AI-powered development.

This role begins as a part-time engagement, with a clear long-term opportunity to grow into a full-time Delivery Manager at GT, eventually supporting multiple clients and engaging in light BD/Account Management activities.

Type: Part-time (60–80 hours/month).

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

Must-have

• 5+ years in Delivery / Project Management in tech

• Experience leading a single engineering team (5–10 people)

• Strong Agile/Scrum facilitation experience

• Startup experience

• Excellent communication and structured thinking

• Confidence in decision-making and presenting clear logic

• Ability to build trust with engineers and senior leaders

• Fluent English

• Strong collaboration skills with highly technical leaders

• Practical, daily experience using AI tools

  • ChatGPT+ / Claude Pro / Gemini Advanced

  • Otter / Fireflies / Notion AI

  • Ability to use AI to understand services, summarize PRs, document workflows, generate risks, etc.

  • Awareness of AI limitations (hallucinations, reliability issues, prompt-design principles)

Nice-to-have

• Exposure to cybersecurity-related products or workflows / Interest in cybersecurity domain and willingness to learn

• Experience with estimations, proposals, or delivery strategy

• Experience with:

  • GitHub Copilot

  • Cursor / Cody

  • Agentic tools (aider, Claude CLI, Cursor agents)

  • Superwhisper, Raycast AI

• Certifications (Scrum Master, PMP)

Responsibilities:

Lead Delivery for the Engineering Team

You will become the primary delivery owner for the engineering team, working closely with:

• Software Engineers

• AI/ML Engineers

• Product & business stakeholders

• Technical leadership

Your responsibilities include:

• Facilitating planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives

• Maintaining delivery timelines and priorities

• Tracking progress and ensuring high execution standards

• Identifying risks early and communicating them clearly

• Keeping the team aligned and focused

Support & Enable the Engineering Team

You will help create the conditions for the engineering team to thrive:

• Run regular 1–1s with engineers (together with People/Operations)

• Understand workload, motivation, and potential blockers

• Provide clarity and context when priorities shift

• Shield the team from unnecessary noise or interruptions

• Translate stakeholder input into structured tasks and plans

Create Clarity in a Fast-Moving, Evolving Environment

The client moves quickly and values thoughtful structure. You will:

• Turn evolving ideas into clear action plans

• Maintain transparent communication across stakeholders

• Introduce lightweight processes to increase predictability

• Bring calm, logic, and preparation to every discussion

Work Closely With Senior Stakeholders

You’ll regularly collaborate with senior leaders—both technical and business:

• Clarify requirements and desired outcomes

• Align expectations, priorities, and delivery timelines

• Facilitate decision-making

• Ensure smooth and consistent communication between leadership and the engineering team

AI-Heavy Collaboration

This project is deeply AI-driven. You will:

• Join discussions on AI features, workflows, and capabilities

• Work closely with engineers building AI functionality

• Use AI tools daily for planning, summarization, risk identification, and documentation

• Stay curious and continuously explore advancements in AI

You don’t need to be an AI developer - but strong practical experience using AI in day-to-day work is required.
