Reporting to the GCP Associate Director, the Program Coordinator (PC) works under the supervision of a Program Manager and is responsible for the support of the PM’s planning and curriculums. The PC executes programmatic plans that promote resident success and interaction through academic, career, social, and service focused events. Events will enhance co-curricular learning, develop a strong sense of community and promote resident wellbeing, and the goals of the Graduate Commons as designed by the leadership of the Graduate Commons Program.
The Program Coordinator acts as the first point of contact for the Graduate Commons Program area via email, phone, and in person if needed. They also support the area through administrative tasks including room reservation processing, financial processing, and both social media and newsletter content creation.
This is a live-on position without on-call responsibilities; however, crisis response and management will be required as needed. Attendance at evening/weekend events and training is essential for success of the overall program.

Work Format Details
This position has been determined by school or unit leaders that some of the duties and responsibilities can be effectively performed at a non-Harvard location. The work schedule and location will be set by the department at its discretion and based upon operational needs. When not working at a Harvard or Harvard-designated location, employees in hybrid positions must work in a Harvard registered state in compliance with the University’s Policy on Employment Outside of Massachusetts. Additional details will be discussed during the interview process. Certain visa types and funding sources may limit work location. Individuals must meet work location sponsorship requirements prior to employment.
Salary Grade and Ranges
