Our Integrations & Inventory team is at the heart of this mission, building the core infrastructure that powers our job marketplace. We process thousands of job offers daily from various sources and ensure applications are delivered successfully back to our clients, creating a seamless two-way integration.
As a WS Software Engineer (all genders), you'll join this crucial team and collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain the event-driven systems that handle our job and application data. You'll gain hands-on experience with Python, serverless architectures, and a wide range of AWS services, all while solving real-world scalability challenges.
We are a highly AI-driven company. You will learn to use the latest AI-augmented engineering tools (like Claude and Cursor) as a core part of your workflow, accelerating your learning and impact from day one. This is a unique opportunity to grow into an AI-accelerated engineer while working on production systems.
In this role, you can earn a target salary between 16 - 18 €/hourly. Your personal development and promotion opportunities are also guaranteed with us.
Assist in designing, building, and improving event-driven integrations using Python.
Gain hands-on experience with core AWS services like Lambda, SQS, SNS, and ECS in a real production environment.
Support the team in troubleshooting and fixing bugs in our applications and integration pipelines.
Pair with senior engineers on tough problems to learn best practices in software design and architecture.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Integration Operations Specialists to deliver robust solutions.
Learn to use and leverage AI coding assistants as a fundamental part of your daily workflow.
Grow into a future expert in backend development, cloud-native applications, and AI-accelerated engineering.
You are an actively enrolled student at a German university in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
You are expected to graduate in the second half of 2026 or later. We seek a long-term collaboration with the aim of converting you to a full-time engineer after graduation.
You have some programming experience with Python through university courses, personal projects, or previous internships.
You have a foundational understanding of and keen interest in cloud computing, preferably with some exposure to AWS.
A passion for learning new technologies and a pragmatic, can-do attitude to get things done.
You are interested in software design, data processing, and how to build scalable systems.
You have a strong desire to learn and apply AI tools to solve complex engineering problems.
You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
