We are looking for a Product Operations Quality Specialist, serving as both the proactive quality assurance backbone and reactive problem-solving specialist for our marketplace operations. This dual-function role ensures product listings are optimized and marketplace-ready through preventive quality control while also investigating and resolving critical product issues to maintain seller satisfaction and customer experience. You'll operate in a fast-paced, 24 hour SLA environment requiring exceptional attention to detail and quick problem-solving capabilities.
This is a full-time position and will follow US business working hours.
Proactive Quality Assurance
- Product Listing QA: Review and verify product listings, images, titles, and descriptions for accuracy and marketplace compliance before distribution to partner channels
- Content Optimization: Optimize product titles and descriptions using SEO best practices and marketplace-specific guidelines
- Preventive Quality Control: Act as second line of defense between Product Data Specialists and eCommerce Channel Operations to prevent listing errors
Reactive Issue Resolution
- Problem Investigation: Investigate and resolve product listing errors flagged by sellers or through customer returns within 24-hour SLA targets
- Data Quality Enhancement: Correct images, descriptions, titles, and technical specifications for existing problematic listings
- Comprehensive Research: Conduct web research to source missing product information and high-quality images for issue resolution
Image Management & Technical Operations
- Image Editing & Optimization: Edit and optimize product images, ensure platform requirements compliance, perform basic editing (cropping, color correction, background removal)
- Channel Compliance: Assess image eligibility for channels with strict requirements and collaborate with eCommerce Channel Operations to prevent uploads to restricted channels
- Technical Data Processing: Utilize advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis, tracking, and bulk data cleanup
Process Management & Analytics
- Workflow Management: Manage tasks through Monday.com project management system while maintaining SLA compliance
- Performance Tracking: Track resolution metrics, quality issues, and maintain performance benchmarks
- Process Improvement: Identify patterns in product issues, provide feedback to Product Data Leads and specialists to reduce future listing errors
- SOP Adherence: Follow established standard operating procedures and quality standards for consistent issue resolution
Special Projects & Collaboration
- AI Tool Integration: Support AI image review processes and work with cutting-edge AI-powered tools
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Data Specialists, eCommerce Channel Operations, and Marketplace Inventory Operations teams
- System Feedback: Provide input on proprietary tools to drive system improvements
- Escalation Management: Escalate complex issues to Marketplace Inventory Operations Catalog Lead when needed
