Senior Support Engineer (ReSharper)

JetBrains' .NET department offers a suite of powerful development tools for .NET professionals. Rider is a fast and feature-rich cross-platform IDE for .NET and game development. ReSharper enhances Visual Studio with advanced code inspections, refactorings, and navigation, while dotTrace, dotMemory, and dotCover help developers optimize performance, manage memory usage, and ensure test coverage in their applications. We’re currently looking to hire a Support Engineer to focus on ReSharper.

We’ll be happy to have you on our team if you:

• Enjoy helping users resolve a variety of technical issues.
• Can explain complex ideas in simple terms.
• Are persistent when investigating tricky technical problems.
• Can extract valuable insights from limited information.
• Actively advocate for users' interests.
• Are familiar with .NET technology stack and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Know C# well enough to write and debug simple applications.
• Have at least 3 years (preferred) of experience in testing or supporting commercial software applications.
• Have knowledge of generative AI applications in software development.
• Have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Are able to work independently and in a team.
• Are committed to continuously developing and expanding your skills.

We’ll be especially thrilled if you:

• Are familiar with the Knowledge Centered Service framework.
• Have handled sensitive accounts and escalated tickets in the past.
• Have onboarded and mentored support engineers new to your team.
• Have experience with CRM and bug-tracking systems.
• Have worked with modern IDEs and development tools across multiple platforms.
• Have experience working in a geographically distributed team.

About the team:

• We provide support to customers worldwide through a structured ticketing system.
• We collaborate closely with the development team, sharing product feedback.
• We reproduce user scenarios and submit accurate bug reports.
• We collect product knowledge and create articles, guides, and other resources to help users.
• We communicate with project stakeholders, including developers, QAs, the marketing team, and others.
• We foster a friendly and supportive work environment.
