Accountabilities
- Deliver high-quality software and product-ready AI solutions for embedded controls systems in the electrification space.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, government regulations, and internal policies.
- Adhere to software design principles and understand supervisory controls architecture.
- Design and develop Physics and Controls requirements for mechatronic controls.
- Leverage AI to enhance productivity and deliver innovative solutions.
- Maintain understanding of automotive communication protocols such as Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.
- Test and validate software functionality to ensure hardware agnostic solutions.
- Document design solutions and link them to test cases for traceability.
- Utilize automated test tools to verify functionality at various levels.
- Implement BDD/TDD methodologies to promote Software Built In Quality.
- Familiarize with Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering – Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or BS in Computer Science.
- 2+ years of experience in embedded controls software.
- Proficient in C and Python programming languages.
- Expertise in troubleshooting field issues.
- Familiarity with AI solutions and applications.
- High integrity, self-directed, and able to handle ambiguity.
- Demonstrated innovative thinking focused on customer needs.
