Summer Trainee, Communications

Are you studying Communications or Marketing and ready to kick-start your career? Do you want to gain valuable experience from communications in an international work environment? If yes, this is the opportunity for you.

We’re looking for a Summer Trainee, Communications to join our Technologies function. The role is mostly located in Espoo but requires occasional visits in our Hyvinkää headquarters (Finland). In this role, you’ll support our communications team and stakeholders with a variety of tasks, including:

• Creating internal and external communication content, including news releases, articles, newsletters, and presentations
• Developing internal and external website content
• Planning and coordinating events
• Supporting major initiatives and projects with communications
• Storytelling and social media activities, including creating videos and visuals

The communication topics relate to technology research & development, AI, digital solutions and procurement.

This summer traineeship is full-time for 4 months, starting date in May 2026, with the possibility of partial remote work.

What we’re looking for?

The role is ideal for a person who is creative, proactive, and full of ideas. You enjoy teamwork, have strong interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about learning new. You’re a good fit if you:

• Are interested in technology, such as AI, digitalization, or robotics
• Are currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business
• Are able to work independently
• Have strong visual and storytelling skills
• Are familiar with M365 tools (SharePoint, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop), AI, and project management

We also appreciate

• Previous experience in similar tasks
• Skills in video and photo editing
