We are partnering with a unique, high-growth consumer product company behind a globally recognized mobile application with 1M+ monthly active users.
They are hiring a Senior Product Designer to own visual design across their mobile experience. This is a hands-on, UI-first role focused on execution, consistency, and polish. While UX awareness is required, this role is not research-heavy and is not a strategy-only position. The priority is shipping high-quality interfaces that scale in a fast-moving product environment.
This is a replacement hire with no overlap. We need someone who can step in confidently, ramp quickly, and raise the quality bar through strong autonomy and output.
You will report to the Chief Creative Officer and partner closely with product and engineering. You will also collaborate with senior stakeholders, including a company Co-Founder.
This product is built for everyday creators, not professional designers. We are intentionally moving away from a traditional enterprise SaaS look. The right designer will bring a fresh, modern consumer aesthetic that feels more like Canva than corporate B2B software.

Maintain a balance of “looks great” and “works great” for real users at scale

Portfolio that includes native mobile app work (not just websites, decks, branding, or PDF case studies)
Expert-level proficiency with Figma and modern component-based workflows
Strong foundation in visual design, typography, color theory, layout, and UI polish
Proven ability to work independently: briefed once, then execute and deliver with minimal oversight
Experience working on high-scale consumer products
Experience designing monetization-related UI surfaces (paywalls, subscription screens, upgrade prompts)
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools or an AI-forward mindset that helps accelerate iteration
High attention to detail and pride in craft
Clear communicator who can explain design decisions confidently and take feedback well
Self-directed, organized, and comfortable owning outcomes
Low-ego collaborator who can improve what exists without needing to reinvent everything
Fully remote role
Long-term engagement
Fast-moving, collaborative environment
