Role Overview
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer who combines deep technical expertise with the ability to influence, elevate, and accelerate an entire product area. You’re someone who can dive into complex distributed systems, design scalable architectures, and still enjoy rolling up your sleeves to ship high‑quality code. You’ve led modernization efforts, improved developer experience, and helped teams adopt better patterns at scale.
As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll shape the next generation of digital forensics collaboration tools used by agencies around the world. Our mission is to help investigators, analysts, and stakeholders work together more effectively in high‑stakes environments, and your technical leadership will directly impact that mission.
This is a hands‑on technical leadership role. You’ll guide engineering direction, influence cross‑team decisions, and help the team adopt modern practices, including the thoughtful use of AI throughout the SDLC and product experience.
