We’re seeking Technical Writing Interns to join our diverse and highly technical documentation team responsible for developing and maintaining user-facing content for the entire MongoDB product suite. Our mission is to empower developers and administrators to use MongoDB products with confidence and efficiency through world-class technical documentation. As an intern, you’ll play a meaningful role from day one. Your work will directly reach a global audience of 800,000 readers every month. Our interns learn and explain complex technical topics, working closely with product and engineering teams to document features across the database, distributed systems, client libraries, lexical and vector search, REST APIs, backup and recovery processes, deployment configuration, enterprise security, performance, and performance optimization. This internship is ideal for students who are curious about how systems work under the hood and passionate about helping others succeed through clear, accurate, and engaging technical communication.

MongoDB internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 10 consecutive weeks lasting from dates in June until August. All interns are considered hybrid employees, designated the "in office" working model and are expected to be in their office location 3-5 days a week.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings.
