Instructional Designer

What you'll do:

In this role you will:

• Take written content, storyboards, videos, and scripts and transform them into engaging interactive online multimedia courses using cutting-edge e-learning authoring software tools
• Design motion-graphics elements, animations, and transitions using Adobe After Effects
• Track multiple projects, with detailed timelines, and maintain version control for all deliverables
• Evaluate and test all course elements to maintain high quality standards
• Stay current with e-learning trends, multimedia production best practices, and emerging technology for online content creation

What you'll need:

• 3+ years of experience designing and producing e-learning/multimedia courses
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects and Premiere Pro
• Firsthand experience with one or more e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate
• Solid understanding of instructional design models with adult learning principles, storyboarding, course flow, and visual design
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project-management skills

Bonus points for:

• An instructional design portfolio that is well-designed, visually appealing, and easy to follow
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience

Compensation:

The salary range for this role will be $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 USD. In addition, this position will also receive an annual target bonus of 8%. Bonus pay at NinjaTrader is based on individual performance (50%) as well as company/team performance (50%).

Salary and bonus earnings are only two components of the total compensation package offered by NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader offers a 401K plan through ADP under which the company will match up to 3.5% of employee contributions. Annual paid time off allowance accrues at a rate of 18 days per year (some positions may qualify for more) plus seven paid holidays.

This is a remote-eligible position, though applicants must reside in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, Wisconsin.

Hybrid:

For Chicago-based employees, we follow a hybrid work schedule: In-office Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays. In addition to these weekly remote days, we offer:

• 20 additional flex remote days annually
• 5 Company Wide Office-Optional weeks tied to major holidays
