Omnea·about 8 hours ago
At Omnea, we’re reinventing how enterprise businesses operate, starting with the most painful parts: procurement – where a single purchase can drag on for months, trigger 50+ emails, and pull in Finance, Legal, Security, and IT just to get something approved.
We’ve raised $75M from Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, and Accel to change that. Our AI-native platform connects every person, step, and system so buying is fast, safe, and efficient – one place to request, automated approvals and renewals, real-time supplier risk, and complete spend visibility.
It's a $7B+ untapped market, and our traction reflects the scale of the opportunity: we’ve 10x’d ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and are trusted by global enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. We’re now the 4th fastest growing startup in Europe.
Our team previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity tech, backed by Sequoia, Balderton, Accel, acquired post-Series C), and our team includes ex-founders operators who’ve grown unicorns, shipped world-class products, and executed at the highest levels. You’ll work alongside leaders like Ben, Abs, Sabrina, and Rebe.
We’re looking for exceptional, product-minded full-stack software engineers to help scale Omnea through its next phase of growth.
Over the 18 months, we’ve grown revenue 10x, tripled our customer base, and maintained >99% retention with enterprise customers including Spotify, Wise, Albertsons, Adecco, and McAfee. Our bar for talent is deliberately high — it took more than 10,000 interviews to hire our first 50 Omneans — and we’re now scaling from low double-digit to 200+ enterprise customers, alongside another 10× step-up in revenue over the next 2–3 years.
You’d be joining at a genuine inflection point: past product-market fit, but early enough to have real ownership and influence as we move from startup to scale-up. We’re a Series B company, having raised $75m from Insight Partners, Khosla Ventures, Accel, and over 50 respected founders and operators. Our leadership team (CEO, CCO, CFO) previously helped scale Tessian from $0–30m ARR and from pre-seed to Series C, so we’ve been through this journey before.
Over the last 18 months, we’ve built and deployed Omnea with some of the world’s leading tech companies — including Spotify, Monzo, Lookout, McAfee, Onfido, Typeform, and Proofpoint — while staying lean and execution-focused. Now, we’re ready to scale the product, the team, and the ambition.
We’re looking for outstanding engineers who want to help build one of Europe’s defining enterprise software companies.
We’re flexible on prior stack experience, but you should be comfortable completing our pair-programming interview in JavaScript or TypeScript, as that’s how we assess fundamentals. We’re also open to engineers who lean more frontend or backend today, provided you’re excited to grow into a full-stack role.
If you want real ownership, meaningful technical problems, and the chance to help shape a company at scale — we’d love you to build with us.
Join a Skilled Team. You'll become part of one of Europe's best and fastest growing startups, working alongside a team of experienced full-stack product engineers who were all high performers from other top-tier tech companies.
Direct Product Impact. You’ll be involved in key product decisions, including prioritising our product roadmap, defining project scopes, and technical direction. You'll have a significant voice in discussions about product strategy, user experience, and technical feasibility, making sure we steer our product roadmap towards success.
Work with Modern Tech. Omnea is fully built on cloud-native and serverless technologies. Our primary stack is based on Typescript with React & Material UI, Postgres and AWS Serverless Technologies such as Lambda, DynamoDB and EventBridge - all managed via AWS CDK & SST. We use Sentry, Lumigo and LogRocket for observability and Github Actions for automated testing and deployment.
End-to-End Ownership. You’ll be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of your projects. From product, design and architectural decisions, all the way to deployment, monitoring and measuring impact on users. You’ll work across the stack, covering everything from DevOps to styling. We expect each other to take initiative, be proactive in problem-solving, and continuously seek improvements.
Continuous Delivery. We embrace continuous delivery to keep our systems agile, responsive and safe. You’ll deploy small, incremental changes to production multiple times per day, ensuring a steady stream of improvements and rapid adaptation to customer needs and technical challenges.
Tackle Scalability Challenges. As we grow our customer base from tens to hundreds and expand into new product domains, you’ll help us scale our product, architecture and processes efficiently while maintaining performance and reliability.
Collaboration & Autonomy. You’ll often work autonomously to take charge of your projects, make decisions, and drive your work forward. But as a lean and high trust team, we remain quick to collaborate and support each other with challenging problems.
Customers at the Centre. Being really responsive to customer feedback and issues is key. We actively encourage engaging with customers, understanding their experience, and iterating our products based on their input to deliver solutions that truly delight them.
You have a few years' experience. You have demonstrable experience shipping production web applications, having taken features from concept to live deployment, ideally in a full-stack TypeScript and AWS environment.
You focus on having a high impact. You’re driven by impact and are eager to contribute to systems that matter. You want to learn how strong engineering practices, including cloud infrastructure, observability, and testing, come together in a fast-moving early-stage startup.
You know what good can look like. You care deeply about what good engineering looks like and are motivated to raise the bar in your own work. You want to build reliable, well-architected products and are intentional about quality, as you continue to develop your judgement.
You’re ready to get a lot done. You enjoy all aspects of building a product and are comfortable moving across the stack when necessary. You enjoy problem solving and thinking from first principals..You're motivated by getting things done. You enjoy building across the stack, tackling problems from first principles, and moving quickly from idea to implementation. You’re hungry to learn new skills and apply them immediately.
You’re someone who craves ownership. You actively look for ownership and responsibility. You’re drawn to bigger or more complex problems and are keen to stretch yourself, whether that’s deepening your product work or building strength in infrastructure, DevOps, or reliability.
You’re a team builder. You want to be part of a high-performing team and take that seriously. You’re invested in learning from others, sharing context, giving clear feedback, and helping the whole team move faster and do better work.
You’re comfortable when faced with ambiguity. You’re energised by ambiguity and momentum. You’re happy starting with an unclear problem, forming a point of view, and iterating towards a solution, while making good use of support and guidance from experienced teammates.
Nice to haves that really stand out to us
You’ve performed exceptionally at something else in the past, be it academics, sport, work etc. You’ve gone above and beyond the norm.
You love engineering, it’s more than a job for you. You’ve contributed to open-source projects or worked on side-projects in your spare time just because you enjoy it. You’re confident in your ability to tackle ambiguous problems and crank out quality code.
