Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Data Scientist to join our Data team.

About the role:
As a Data Scientist I, you will partner closely with our Market P&L, Tech and Legal teams to develop models and tooling to better understand Oscar's medical costs across its networks. You will develop a deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement and use various data sources to inform negotiations, establish reimbursement for out-of-network providers, and help manage medical costs for Oscar members.
You will report into the Senior Data Scientist.
Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $119,200- $156,450 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
