At Oura, we’re on a mission to empower people to improve their health through insight and daily awareness.We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to join our team and provide essential support across the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with our engineers to build and modify prototypes, create specialized tools and fixtures for testing and analysis, and assist in validating that all products meet stringent engineering specifications. A key component of this role involves assisting in the crucial failure analysis of products currently in the market, directly contributing to continuous improvement and future product reliability.

What you will do:

• Create, build and repair prototypes and products
• In cooperation with engineers, analyze failures and determine root cause
• Create mechanical and or electrical CAD for prototypes and tools

This is an in office role reporting to our San Diego location.

We would love to consider you for this role if you have:

• ME and EE CAD Experience
• Solder and pcba reworking skills
• Electronics debugging and failure analysis
• Component, Tool and hardware fabrication and manufacturing
• Strong communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft and g-suite software
• Over 10 years of experience in the Consumer Electronics business
• AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

• Region 1 $120,000 - $150,000
• Region 2 $110,000 - $138,000
• Region 3 $102,000 - $128,000
