As we expand our ATM operations in Mexico, we’re looking for an experienced fraud professional to build and strengthen antifraud controls for our growing ATM network. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, integrity, and resilience of all ATM-related transactions, working closely with engineering, data, compliance, and operations teams.
Challenges that await you:
- Define fraud-control requirements that are tailored to ATM transaction patterns and risks
- Assess risks related to new ATM deployments, infrastructure updates, and integrations, recommending necessary fraud controls before launch
- Review daily fraud alerts, investigate suspicious ATM transactions, and coordinate escalations and customer-impact actions with Fraud Operations
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to implement, test, and refine antifraud controls for the ATM network
- Maintain dashboards tracking attack types, prevented losses, and false positive rates specific to ATM fraud
- Design and improve operational workflows and KPIs for the antifraud and operations teams monitoring ATM network activity
- Lead post-incident reviews to identify root causes, address control gaps, and monitor emerging fraud trends affecting ATMs
- Document antifraud processes, investigations, and outcomes to support internal audits and regulatory compliance, including adherence to local Mexican regulations
- Collaborate locally with law enforcement and region-specific agencies on fraud prevention and intelligence sharing, especially in high-risk ATM locations
What makes you a great fit:
- Minimum 5 years experience in antifraud or risk management (banking, fintech, payments)
- Proven track record of reducing fraud and false positives in high-volume transactional settings
- Understanding of ATM fraud typologies and working knowledge of fraud monitoring platforms and technologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Python for deep fraud data analysis and reporting
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, and product in international and multilingual contexts
- Proficient and fluent in English, capable of engaging confidently with global teams and stakeholders
