We are strengthening the CRM Core team at Plata - the central group responsible for the CRM platform that powers over 2.5 million calls per day and supports the daily work of more than a thousand operational agents. This is the team that ensures our systems stay stable, scalable, and ready for constant load growth.
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team working at high performance and reliability standards. Your role is to shape the team’s processes, drive technical strategy, and build a culture where predictable delivery, disciplined execution, and near-zero-incident releases are the norm.You will oversee how the team plans, collaborates, ships features, conducts load testing, and integrates with telephony infrastructure.

Challenges that await you:
- Leading the team in hiring, planning, task decomposition, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration
- Overseeing team performance, ensuring on-time project delivery aligned with business goals
- Lead the development and optimization of the workspace for collection/telesales agents.
- Solving complex challenges and ensuring high-quality solutions
- Shaping the architecture, design, and implementation of backend services in Golang
What makes you a great fit:
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams (hiring, development, performance, and delivery management)
- A strong technical background and development experience, enabling you to participate in architectural discussions and validate the team's technical solutions.
- Excellent cross-team communication skills and the ability to build partnerships.
- 4+ years of experience as a Go developer
- Experience in building and optimizing development processes (planning, decomposition, retrospectives).
- Diplomacy and the ability to advocate for your position and the team's interests with well-reasoned arguments.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate effectively
