We’re looking for a product designer to work closely with engineering and product teams on already launched banking products in Plata.
This is a real production role: improving existing features, covering complex scenarios, and helping teams ship high-quality solutions fast.
Challenges that await you:
- Design additional and supporting features for existing products, based on requests from product owners
- Bring designs to production quality: edge cases, states, errors, and clear specifications
- Participate in handoff and day-to-day discussions with engineers
- Work with the design system: use existing components, share new requirements, and help evolve the system when needed
- Provide design QA and ownership after handoff: review implemented features, test builds, log and track design issues
- Propose improvements to existing products based on user feedback, metrics, and internal insights
- Work closely with the lead designer, picking up tasks with incomplete or lightweight briefs and helping teams move faster
What makes you a great fit:
- A hands-on product designer with experience shipping B2C products
- A strong portfolio focused on mobile apps and real production work
- Experience working on complex flows (accounts, payments, transactions, states, errors)
- Comfortable working closely with engineers and discussing implementation details
- Solid understanding of UX patterns, Human Interface Guidelines (HIG), and Material Design
- Critical thinking, strong attention to detail, and a mindset of continuous improvement
- High motivation to do your best work and build one of the strongest products of your career
- Availability to work in the European time zone and stay closely aligned with engineering
