We are seeking an experienced and driven Tech Lead to guide our DWH Data Tools team. This team is responsible for managing and evolving our critical data ecosystem tools, including Superset, Jupyter Hub, and DataHub, while also developing new, in-house solutions to fit specific business needs.
This role is pivotal in defining the technical architecture and design of our data tools platform. The ideal candidate will be a senior-level specialist capable of translating ideas from product management into robust, scalable technical solutions. You will possess strong technical leadership skills and a proven track record in data platform architecture and management.
Challenges that await you:
- Provide senior technical leadership and mentorship to the DWH Data Tools team
- Lead the onboarding and technical development of new team members
- Oversee the architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance of all data tools, including Superset, Jupyter Hub, and DataHub
- Lead the development of custom data tools and solutions to meet new business requirements
- Collaborate closely with product managers to brainstorm ideas, define technical requirements, and translate product vision into actionable technical designs
- Monitor and ensure the performance, stability, and reliability of all data tools and platforms
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure tools are effective and meet user needs
- Conduct strategic planning and analysis to optimize the performance and efficiency of the data tools ecosystem
- Create and maintain documentation for data tool architecture and processes
- Manage communication with other teams to ensure seamless data integration and tool usability
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in a technical leadership, architecture, or senior engineering role, preferably focused on data platforms or tools
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- Strong technical expertise in designing, deploying, and managing data tools (e.g., BI platforms, data notebooks, or data catalogs)
- Deep experience translating product or business requirements into technical architecture
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Solid understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts
- Open mind for problem-solving and good troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a specific ability to partner with product management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Work experience in the DWH
- Work experience in the banking/fintech sphere
- Familiarity with the technical stacks or internals of Superset, Jupyter Hub, or DataHub
- Experience with data integration frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka)
- Knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Airflow, DBT)
