Office Manager & HR Administrator (f/m/d) Düsseldorf or Berlin, Germany (onsite).

At Upway, we’re building the world’s leading marketplace for refurbished e-bikes. In just three years, we’ve brought more than 50,000 e-bikes back to life and we are just getting started. Our mission is to make electric mobility accessible to everyone.
How? By sourcing and professionally refurbishing the best e-bikes on the market in combining premium quality, affordability, and sustainability. Germany has become our core market, and to support our UpCenter in Berlin we are looking for organizational talent in the area of Office Management and HR Administration as soon as possible.

Gehalt: EUR 50.000-60.000 + Equity depending on experience

About the Role

Administrative & HR Support

• Lead the onboarding and offboarding experience for new and departing employees — making sure every transition is seamless.

• Support HR topics such as employment contracts and personnel administration.

• Prepare our monthly payroll together with our accountant — managing working hours, absences, and reports with accuracy and care.

• Act as the go-to person for all administrative and HR-related questions.

• Collaborate with our accountant to ensure invoices and financial documents are processed correctly and on time.

Team Building & Culture

• Bring people together by organizing regular team events and initiatives that make work more meaningful and fun.

• Contribute to a positive, people-first culture where collaboration and appreciation thrive.

About You

• 2+ years of experience in office management and/or administrative support

• Strong organizational and time management skills: You should be able to work independently and on multiple projects simultaneously

• Positive attitude: You are a team player with a solution-oriented approach

• Hands-on mentality: You are proactive in taking responsibility for a variety of tasks

• Attention to detail

• Proficient (native or equivalent) communication skills in German, very good English (written and spoken)
