With a growing presence across EMEA and APAC, they support millions of users through intuitive, high-performance digital products.

They’re now hiring a Senior Database Administrator to join the core TechOps team. This role blends hands-on PostgreSQL/MySQL administration with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), automation (Ansible), and systems reliability. It’s a unique opportunity to work at scale while modernizing and securing critical data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer production PostgreSQL and MySQL databases (cloud and on-premise)

• Monitor performance, implement failover strategies, and manage access/security

• Design infrastructure using Terraform and automate configurations with Ansible

• Implement auto-failover, DNS management, and load balancing to ensure high availability

• Work with internal product and data teams on scaling, optimization, and migrations

• Maintain Linux servers hosting database environments

• Support CI/CD practices and routine database automation

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for database systems

Background:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA, especially with PostgreSQL and MySQL

• Solid Linux administration experience

• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Python/Bash)

• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and monitoring tooling

• Understanding of DNS, load balancing, failover setups

• Comfortable working independently in a globally distributed team

• Fluent English communication skills (B2+ level)

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to ClickHouse, MongoDB, MS SQL, or Redshift

• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Work experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, fintech)

• Knowledge of audit/readiness processes
