AI Engineer

You are fully convinced that data science isn’t a hype, but you also believe that, in order to be valuable and really make a company smarter, it must be done right. Your goal is therefore to create the most impactful solution possible in the quickest and easiest way possible so that real value can be extracted from data and artificial intelligence.   

We’re looking for someone who has: 

• A master’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field. 
• Min. 2 years of hands-on experience developing and implementing AI/ML models in production environments. 
• Strong Python programming skills, including experience with API-building frameworks such as FastAPI and prototyping tools like Streamlit. 
• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar is considered a strong asset. 
• Solid understanding of machine learning including model evaluation techniques and familiarity with advanced applications such as: NLP, forecasting, optimization, computer vision. 
• Experience in working with cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and ML pipelines is a strong asset. 
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, and large language models, is a strong asset. 
• Hands-on knowledge of vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Azure AI Search) for semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines is a strong asset. 
• Strong communication and business analysis skills and genuinely interested in understanding the customer’s business context and challenges.
• You can explain complex technical concepts in simple, accessible language to non-technical stakeholders. 
• A collaborative, open-minded mindset and a drive to keep learning in a fast-evolving field.
• You're fluent in Dutch or French, as well as English.
