At Sunrise Robotics, we are dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics. Our mission is to elevate the world of manufacturing by introducing intelligent, flexible robots that enhance human capabilities and existing machinery, ushering in the next era of production at higher quality, with less waste, and lower cost.
We see a future where every element of manufacturing, from design to assembly, is optimised with intelligent automation. Our vision is to integrate flexible robotic solutions, based on generic hardware and advanced software/AI capabilities, into manufacturing, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, to make automation economically viable and accessible, for all sizes of manufacturers. We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future.
As a Robotics Delivery Engineer you will play a key role in developing and deploying our robotics systems to suit the requirements of our clients. Your focus will be to adapt and customise our robot software to different applications adding any missing element required for a robotics cell to generate value for the customer.
This is a customer focused, project-oriented role, and you will have a direct and immediate impact on our customers' operations as you will be primarily contributing to shipping the final cell to the factory floor. You will also be assisting our deployment team by providing expert guidance on how to efficiently setup our robots and validate their expected performance, addressing any future query post-deployment.
This role is mostly remote with some occasional travel to the head office in Ljubljana to complete the development of a project if and when required.
Deployment Preparation: adapt and extend our main code base, in simulation and on the real robot, to full fill the requirements of our customers. Develop and perfection existing robot behaviours and code to produce a cell ready to be shipped
Deployment Support: remotely support the deployment teams when installing and provisioning the system, handling any rough edges to ensure the robots come online smoothly
Drive Improvements: Provide your feedback and learnings to stakeholders and, contributing to improve our deployment process and project planning, direct R&D effort in the right direction to address any uncovered pain point
