Your Role:
At Tenable, the work that we do matters in delivering industry-leading cyber exposure products. Our mission is to help our customers understand and manage their security vulnerabilities and effectively manage their cyber-exposure risk. Tenable is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Nessus Engines product team. Nessus is the #1 vulnerability scanner in the market and the core of the Tenable network security product line, enabling organizations to address the ever-evolving challenge of understanding and mitigating their cybersecurity risk. As a Software Engineer on the Nessus team, you will contribute towards designing, developing and maintaining our Nessus product, used by Enterprise customers to secure their networks, thousands of consultants worldwide, as well as home users, hobbyists and students.

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance.
