About the role
Our internal operations team has created a new role to further support BlueRock from a finance business partnering perspective! As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will focus on being a key partner for Managing Directors and Directors within specific service lines.
Reporting to the CFO, your day to day will include overseeing income reconciliation at month end, producing reports, and providing effective commentary, as well as providing insight and influencing action through collating, reviewing, and analysing data to drive commercial decision-making.
The Senior Finance Business Partner acts as the primary finance interface for assigned business units/entities, owning the commercial narrative of performance and enabling leaders to make informed, data‑driven decisions.

Business Partnering & Commercial Advisory
•Act as the trusted finance partner to Practice Leads, Managing Directors, and senior operational leaders.
•Translate financial results into clear commercial insights, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
•Proactively challenge assumptions and decisions with constructive, evidence based analysis.
•Partner with Practice Leaders and People & Culture to provide financial insight on workforce planning, remuneration structures, and capacity decisions.
•Support leadership with scenario analysis on hiring, leverage, utilisation, and cost sustainability.
•Own the end-to-end budgeting and rolling forecasting process for assigned entities/service lines.
•Develop and maintain robust financial models covering revenue, utilisation, cost structures, and profitability.
•Partner with leaders to develop achievable targets aligned to strategic objectives.
• Identify variances to plan and lead discussions on corrective actions.
•Deliver high quality monthly performance packs with clear commentary and actionable insights.
•Analyse KPIs including revenue growth, utilisation, recovery rates, contribution margin, and EBITDA.
•Design and continuously improve dashboards and reporting tools to enhance decision making.
•Ensure consistency of metrics and definitions across entities.
•Support strategic initiatives such as new service offerings, geographic expansion, and acquisitions.
•Support M&A and corporate development initiatives through multi-year financial modelling, valuation support, and scenario analysis.
•Partner with transaction teams to assess financial risks, integration implications, and value creation opportunities.
•Partner with the broader finance team to ensure integrity of underlying financial data.
•Ensure commercial decisions align with group financial policies and risk appetite.
•Provide input into revenue recognition, cost allocation, and inter‑entity charging models from a commercial perspective.
•Build strong relationships across finance and the broader business.
•Coach and mentor junior finance team members where applicable.
• Act as a role model for commercial acumen, professionalism, and collaborative behaviour.
