We are looking for a Senior Social Media Marketing Lead to drive platform growth, content performance, and distribution strategies across client projects. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that sits at the intersection of creativity and analytics. You’ll lead a team of SMM strategists, guide platform-specific tactics, and translate data into actions that drive measurable results. Ideal candidates bring deep knowledge of social media platforms, audience behavior, and algorithm dynamics — paired with a strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver against campaign goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of integrated social media strategies in collaboration with brand and creative leads;
- Conduct platform audits, trend analysis, and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities;
- Build systems for interpreting performance data and presenting insights to internal and external stakeholders;
- Stay ahead of platform algorithm shifts, new features, and best practices across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms;
- Guide the development of editorial calendars, captions, and platform-optimized creative briefs;
- Recommend posting cadences, test-and-learn experiments, and performance optimizations;
- Present data-driven recommendations and insights clearly and convincingly to stakeholders;
- Research and recommend shoppable content formats, platform-specific commerce features, and tagging best practices to support e-commerce goals;
- Propose content strategies and publishing calendars aligned with key conversion moments (e.g. gifting, seasonal, behind-the-scenes activations);
- Mentor a team of SMM strategists, copywriters, and analysts; oversee task prioritization and execution quality;
- Ensure efficient workflows and collaboration using project management and reporting tools (e.g. Asana, native platform tools);
- Collaborate closely with Creative Producers and Brand Marketing to align content with distribution and engagement goals;
- Partner with Business Partnerships to identify upsell opportunities based on content or platform trends.
